Ups and downs

If I die young..

bury me in satin...

lay me down on a bed of roses..

sink me in the river at dawn..

Life is beautiful, yet full of unexpected surprises and sorrows.

I don't know why, perhaps, like what everyone always says,

people only know how to cherish when they have lost something precious.

Met an old friend, had a nice catch up with each other, learnt a lot of new principles.

No matter how hard we tried, sometimes, things just aren't meant to be, and we can do nothing about it.

5 years ago, decision was made. 3 years ago, promises were broken.

you said you wanted things to be the way it was.

you said you realized you prefer life previously.

the realisation has come too late I would say.

though I'm not in any position to evaluate maturity.

it seems to me that you havent changed a bit.

though this may sound harsh, you thought this world only revolves around you.

as if you come to this world to recollect your debts.

sorry if I wrong, but that's the impression you gave me.

after such a long time, things have certainly changed a lot.

for better or worse, only you know yourself.

sometimes, learning to let go

learning to leave

learning to move on

learning to continue with a new life

would definitely be better for all parties

no point harping onto the past

as those are only memories now

or rather

a part of your own life history.

everyone will be happier this way.

Ups and downs

are definitely part and parcel of life

when you are at the highest point, don't think that you are more superior than others

when you are the lowest point, don't think that the whole world owes you

all these are part of life experiences

to help you grow up

to help you reason

and to help you in dealing with the future.

So, move on and live happily.
